Baggage and cabin baggage

Each passenger (except for children under the age of two traveling without an individual seat in the aircraft cabin) has a right to carry their own baggage within the established allowance at no additional charge.

Passenger's baggage shall be accepted for transportation as checked-in baggage and shall be transported in the baggage and cargo compartments of the aircraft.

The passenger's checked-in baggage must be carried on the same aircraft with the passenger. If such transportation has become impossible, such baggage will be transferred to the aircraft that carries out the next flight to the passenger's destination.

The Airline has a right to refuse to carry a passenger's baggage if the weight, number of pieces, content, size or packaging do not comply with the requirements of the Rules of air transportation of passengers, baggage and cargo.

The baggage of a passenger who did not show up for boarding the aircraft after check-in (including the baggage of a transit passenger who did not show up for boarding and his/her cabin baggage in the cabin of the aircraft) is subject to removal from the aircraft and mandatory inspection.

We do not recommend putting fragile items, perishable products, banknotes, jewelry, securities, documents, keys and other valuables in your luggage.

For interregional and international flights it is possible to arrange an additional piece of checked baggage (10 kg or 23 kg) in advance: during the process of purchasing a ticket on the airline’s website, after purchasing a ticket through the My Bookings service or at a ticket agency.

If you need to carry baggage over 23 kg or oversized baggage (over 203 cm in the total of three dimensions), you must also confirm the estimated volume with the airline in advance by submitting an Application on the website. If there are no available baggage capacities on the aircraft, the airline may refuse to transport additional baggage to the passenger if it has not been announced and confirmed by the airline in advance.

Cabin baggage shall be transported free of charge, provided:

Cabin baggage dimensions for different types of aircraft on flights of our Airline:

aircraft ATR 72-212A, ATR 42-500, Аn-24, Аn-26, Yak-42 – 55*40*20 cm / up to 5kg (for the Krasnoyarsk-Khatanga and back route up to 10 kg);

aircraft L 410 – 30*25*25 cm / up to 5kg.

• For children under the age of 2 years old, traveling without an individual seat, free cabin baggage allowance is 5 kg (for the Krasnoyarsk-Khatanga and back route up to 10 kg).
• Cabin baggage during its transportation must be placed under the passenger seat. Above the passenger seat in the closed baggage compartment you can place small light items and outerwear of the passenger.

In addition to cabin baggage, you can take the following to the cabin:

• backpack with dimensions of 40*30*20 cm and a maximum weight of 3 kg, a handbag or briefcase;
• bouquet of flowers;
• outerwear;
• baby food for the child during the flight;
• suit in a garment bag;
• device for carrying a child (baby cradle, holding devices) up to 2 years;
• medicines, special dietary requirements in the amount required during the flight;
• crutches, walking sticks, a foldable wheelchair with dimensions that allow it to be safely placed on a shelf above the passenger seat or under the seat in front.

The above items shall not be presented for weighing, registration, marking with tags and shall be transported in the cabin.

For children under 12 flying with an individual seat, the free baggage allowance and cabin baggage are the same as for adult passengers.

For children under 2 years old flying without an individual seat, free baggage allowance is not provided.

Free of charge and in addition to baggage for children under 12 years old, you can carry baby strollers (cradles) and other holding devices. These items are carried in baggage.

Sports equipment shall be charged according to the excess baggage rates.

Air transportation of weapons, ammunition and special means (hereinafter referred to as weapons) is carried out in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation and the regulatory documents of federal executive bodies developed on their basis, laws of other states and international treaties of the Russian Federation.

Transportation of any types of weapons and ammunition shall be agreed with the carrier.

Transportation of military hand-held small arms and cartridges for it without their transfer to the carrier for placement for the period of flight in an isolated compartment of the aircraft is allowed for employees and (or) military personnel of the State Courier Service of the Russian Federation, the Intergovernmental Courier Service accompanying correspondence, the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation, the Federal security services of the Russian Federation, troops of the National Guard of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, accompanying objects of state protection, ensuring the safety of persons subject to state protection, and other persons on the basis of federal laws and other regulatory legal acts of the Russian Federation adopted in accordance with them.

Weapon of a passenger who has a right to keep and carry the weapon at the airport of departure shall be handed over to the crew for temporary storage for duration of the flight and issued to the passenger upon the end of the flight at the airport of destination.

Acceptance of weapons for transportation, execution of the necessary documents, delivery on board the aircraft at the airport of departure and issuance of weapons at the airport of destination are carried out by an employee of the aviation security service.

Firearms must be accepted for carriage in an unloaded state if:

• licenses or permits specified in paragraph 77 of the Rules for the circulation of civilian and service weapons and cartridges on the territory of the Russian Federation, approved by the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of July 21, 1998;
• copies of the permit for the storage and use of weapons, certified in accordance with the procedure established by the legislation of the Russian Federation (if necessary, with a list of registration numbers for weapons), copies of the Unified calendar plan for interregional, all-Russian and international physical culture events and sports events, calendar plans for physical culture events and sports events subjects of the Russian Federation, municipalities, calendar plans of all-Russian and regional sports federations and the order of the head of the legal entity on the organization of transportation of weapons and cartridges for sports weapons.

Acceptance of weapons, cartridges for transportation must be carried out after registration of the passenger and registration of his/her weapons, cartridges as separate pieces of baggage. The passenger shall be issued a boarding pass with a mark indicating the number of seats and weight of the weapon, and a baggage tag (tags) for the weapon.

After the weapons and documents are checked and presence of a baggage tag on the weapon is confirmed, the passenger must place the weapon in a special packaging of the weapon manufacturer or in a holster, case, special case.

Upon completion of the marking, the aviation security service employee must draw up a Statement in 4 counterparts, which shall be signed by the aviation security service employee and the passenger.

The first counterpart of the Statement when signed by the responsible crew member on acceptance of weapons on board the aircraft must be attached to the baggage list of the passenger transportation service. The second counterpart of the Statement after the transfer of weapons on board the aircraft and signing by the responsible crew member must remain and be stored in the security service of the airport of departure. The third counterpart of the Statement must be handed over to the responsible crew member. The fourth counterpart of the Statement must be issued to the passenger and presented by the passenger together with the baggage tag upon receipt of weapons at the airport of destination.

The weapon is subject to transportation as a separate piece of checked baggage in an isolated compartment of the aircraft, paid at the rates established by the carrier.

In case of an aircraft that do not have segregated baggage compartments, weapons must be transported in the cabin in their original packaging or in special containers (in sealed bags made of dense fabric).

The issuance of a weapon to a passenger at the airport of destination is carried out by an employee of the aviation security service upon presentation by the passenger (the owner of the weapon) of the fourth counterpart of the Statement.

Weapons are accepted for carriage only in unloaded state, in passenger packaging (cases, holsters, special containers, cases) that meets the requirements for safety and security of weapons. In this case, weapons and cartridges must be in individual packages.

Pneumatic units with a muzzle energy over 3 J are civilian weapons and shall be transported in the manner prescribed for other weapons. When transporting pneumatic weapons with a muzzle energy of more than 7.5 J and a caliber of more than 4.5 mm, you must have a permit to keep and bear arms.

Transportation of weapons is not included in the baggage allowance and shall be paid additionally. Cost of transporting 1 unit of weapons (up to 20 kg) is 3000 rubles. On helipads and flights operated on Mi-8 type aircraft, cost of transporting 1 weapon is 450 rubles. For transportation as checked-in baggage of one passenger, weapons must be accepted in an number not exceeding 5 units, cartridges in a number not exceeding 1000 pieces, with a weight not exceeding than 5 kg. When transporting weapons to the airport, you must arrive in advance, at least 2 hours before the flight departure.

The airline accepts applications for free transportation of ski equipment for flights on the winter schedule from 16.08.2024 to 30.04.2025.

Skis or snowboards will be carried free of charge, in addition to the basic baggage and cabin baggage allowances on the chosen flight.

Popular routes for passengers to and from ski resorts are included in the free equipment transportation program:

• Krasnoyarsk – Novokuznetsk – Krasnoyarsk;
• Krasnoyarsk – Severobaikalsk (Nizhneangarsk) – Krasnoyars;
• Krasnoyarsk – Barnaul – Krasnoyarsk;
• Krasnoyarsk – Gorno-Altaysk – Krasnoyarsk;
• Krasnoyarsk – Abakan – Krasnoyarsk.

Flight period: from November 1, 2024 to April 30, 2025. One passenger can carry one set of ski equipment for free with a total weight of no more than 20 kg, which includes: 1 pair of skis with 1 pair of poles (or 1 snowboard), 1 helmet, goggles, special clothing, 1 pair of boots.

We recommend that you apply in advance in order to have time to reserve a free place for placing skis or snowboards on board the aircraft.

List of main hazardous substances and items forbidden (permitted under the required conditions) for transportation on board the aircraft by crew members and passengers in checked-in  baggage and items that are carried by passengers (Order of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation dated July 25, 2007 No. 104)

It is forbidden to transport the following hazardous substances and items on board the aircraft by crew members and passengers in checked-in baggage and in things carried by passengers:

• Explosives, blasting agents and items filled with such explosives or blasting agents:
  - all kinds of gunpowder, in any package and in any quantity;
  - live ammunition (including small-caliber);
  - cartridges for gas weapons;
  - caps (pistons) for hunting;
  - pyrotechnic means, namely, signal and lighting rockets, signal cartridges, landing checkers, smoke cartridges (checkers), slow match, sparklers, railway firecrackers;
  - trotyl, dynamite, trirolo, ammonal and other explosives;
  - blasting caps, electric detonators, electric spark igniter, detonating and igniter cord, etc.;
  
  
• Compressed and liquefied gases:
  - gases for domestic use (butane-propane) and other gases;
  - gas cartridges filled with nerve agents and tear agents, etc.;
   
• Flammable liquids:
  - acetone;
  - gasoline;
  - samples of flammable oil products;
  - methanol;
  - methyl acetate (methyl ether);
  - carbon disulfide;
  - ethers;
  - ethyl cellosol;
  
  
• Flammable solids:
  - substances liable to spontaneous combustion;
  - substances that emit flammable gases when interacting with water:
  - potassium, sodium, calcium metal and their alloys, calcium phosphorous, etc.;
  - white, yellow and red phosphorus and all other substances classified as flammable solids;
  
  
• Oxidizing agents and organic peroxides:
  - colloidal nitrocellulose, in granules or flakes, dry or wet, containing less than 25% water or solvent;
  - colloidal nitrocellulose, in pieces, wet, containing less than 25% alcohol;
  - nitrocellulose, dry or wet, containing less than 30% solvent or 20% water, etc.;
  
  
• Toxic agents;
  
  
• Radioactive materials;
  
  
• Caustic and corrosive substances:
  - strong inorganic acids: hydrochloric, sulfuric, nitric and others;
  - hydrofluoric (tluorhydric) acid and other strong acids and corrosive substances;
  
  
• Toxic substances:
  - any poisonous potent and toxic substances in liquid or solid state, packed in any container;
  - brucine;
  - nicotine;
  - strychnine;
  - tetrahydrofurfuryl alcohol;
  - antifreeze;
  - brake fluid;
  - ethylene glycol;
  - mercury, with an exception of mercury contained in a medical thermometer, mercury tonometer in a standard case, mercury barometer or mercury manometer, packed in a sealed container and sealed with the sender's seal;
  - all salts of hydrocyanic acid and cyanide preparations;
  - cyclone, cyanide, arsenic anhydride, etc.;
  - other hazardous substances, objects and cargoes that can be used as a weapon to attack passengers, crew of an aircraft, as well as posing a threat to the flight of an aircraft;
  
  
• Weapon:
  - pistols, revolvers, rifles, carbines and other firearms, gas, pneumatic weapons, electroshock devices, daggers, stilettos, bayonet-knives, except for cases and in the manner established by the legislation of the Russian Federation.

A detailed list of hazardous substances and items forbidden for carriage on board of an aircraft by crew members and passengers is contained in the Technical Instructions for Safe Air Transportation of Dangerous Goods.

Administration of the airport, airline, operator has a right to decide on introduction of additional measures to ensure aviation security on flights with increased danger, as a result of which it is prohibited to carry the following items in the aircraft cabin:
- corkscrews;
- hypodermic needles (unless medical justification is provided);
- knitting needles;
- scissors with a blade length of less than 60 mm;
- folding (without holder) travel knives, penknives with a blade length of less than 60 mm;
- mercury tonometers;
- barometers or mercury manometers.

The following items and substances are permitted to be carried on board the aircraft by crew members and passengers, subject to the required conditions:

• In checked-in baggage in the cargo and baggage compartments of an aircraft with an isolated passenger access to baggage during the flight:
  - crossbows, spearguns, checkers, sabers, cleavers, scimitars, broadswords, swords, bayonets, daggers, knives: hunting knives, knives with ejected blades, with locking locks, imitators of any type of weapon;
  - household knives (scissors) with a blade length over 60 mm;
  - аalcoholic beverages with an alcohol content of more than 24%, but not more than 70% alcohol by volume in containers with a capacity of not more than 5 liters, in containers intended for retail trade - not more than 5 liters per passenger;
  - liquids and alcoholic beverages with an alcohol content of not more than 24% by volume;
  - aerosols intended for use for sports or domestic purposes, outlet valves of which are protected by caps from spontaneous release of contents in containers with a capacity of not more than 0.5 kg or 500 ml - not more than 2 kg or 2 liters per passenger;
  - a medical thermometer containing mercury, in a standard case - one per passenger;
  
  
• Together with things carried by passengers:
  - medical thermometer, not containing mercury;
  - mercury tonometer in a standard case - one per passenger;
  - barometer or mercury manometer, packed in a sealed container and sealed with the sender's seal;
  - disposable lighters - one per passenger;
  - dry ice for cooling perishable products - no more than 2 kg per passenger;
  - 3% hydrogen peroxide - no more than 100 ml per passenger;
  - liquids, gels and aerosols classified as non-hazardous:
  in containers with a capacity of not more than 100 ml (or an equivalent capacity in other units of volume), packed in a securely closed transparent plastic bag with a volume of not more than 1 liter - one bag per passenger.

Liquids in containers with a capacity of more than 100 ml will not be accepted for carriage even if the container is only partially filled, except for:
- medicines, special dietary products, baby food, including mother's milk, in the amount necessary for the duration of the flight;
- medicinal products containing narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and their precursors, if there are documents provided by international treaties of the Russian Federation, including acts constituting the law of the Eurasian Economic Union, and (or) the legislation of the Russian Federation, confirming the appointment of the specified medicinal products to the passenger with an indication of their name and number, in the amount required for duration of the flight;
- biological materials if the passenger has documents provided for by international treaties of the Russian Federation, including acts constituting the law of the Eurasian Economic Union, and (or) legislation of the Russian Federation, establishing the procedure for transportation of biological materials.

Liquids purchased from duty-free shops at the airport or on board the aircraft must be packed in a securely sealed plastic bag that provides identification of an access to the contents of the bag during the flight, which has credible evidence that this purchase was made at the airport duty-free shops or on board the aircraft on the day of travel.

If the fare on the ticket provides for free baggage allowance: at the request of passengers traveling together for the same purpose of travel to the same airport (point) of destination or airport (point) of stopover on the same flight (family members, persons traveling together or following on a business trip) at the check-in desk, the sums of free baggage allowances are combined by weight of each passenger. The service is issued upon joint check-in by passengers wishing to combine baggage allowances.

The total weight and number of pieces of checked baggage must not exceed the total weight and number of pieces of the passengers traveling together.

The weight of a piece of baggage must not exceed 30 kg, dimensions - no more than 203 cm in the sum of 3 dimensions.

Documents for registration of the service

The main basis for combining the total baggage allowances is a single order/booking of tickets by passengers. If the tickets of the following passengers are issued in one order/booking, they can use the service of combining baggage allowances without providing additional documents.

Passengers who wish to use the service, but placed in different orders, are required to provide one of the following documents.

For family members:

• marriage certificate;
• birth certificate;
• adoption documents;
• other documents confirming the status of the family.

For persons traveling together or on a business trip:

• vouchers, vouchers, travel vouchers;
• order for a business trip, business trip certificate, job assignment;
• booking a shared hotel stay;
• other documents confirming the joint following.
