Special categories of passengers

This section contains information that will help passengers with special needs to plan their flight through our Airlines in the most convenient way. We invite you to carefully read the mandatory rules and recommendations.

  • A pregnant woman shall independently determine the possibility of a flight, based on the state of her health.
  • Transportation of pregnant women is carried out under general conditions, if such transportation takes place not later than 4 weeks before the expected date of birth.
  • For a passenger, especially in the last 4 weeks of pregnancy (last 8 weeks for multifetation pregnancy) and during the first 7 days after the birth of a child, it is advisable to have a doctor's certificate confirming a satisfactory state of health after the 28th week of pregnancy or in case of pregnancy pathology.
  • Transportation of pregnant women is carried out under a condition that the Airline does not bear any responsibility for adverse consequences that may arise for the passenger and the fetus during transportation and as a result of transportation. There is no possibility to provide specialized medical care on board the aircraft.
  • Flights are not recommended for women during the last 7 days before the birth of a child and during the first 7 days after, as well as for newborn children during the first 7 days after birth.
  • For flight safety purposes, it is prohibited to place pregnant women at emergency exits.

  • The age of the child shall be determined on the date of commencement of transportation from the airport (point) of departure indicated in the transportation document.
  • A child under the age of 5, as well as a disabled child under the age of 12, are transported only accompanied by an adult passenger.
  • Children aged 5 to 12 years old may be transported accompanied by an adult passenger, or unaccompanied under the supervision of the Airline (confirmation of the "Unaccompanied child" service is required).
  • Children over the age of 12 may be transported unaccompanied by an adult passenger.
  • It is prohibited to place passengers with children in the row of emergency exits and places where emergency equipment is located.

The service means transporting a child from 5 to 12 years old without accompanying adult passengers, under the supervision of Airline employees.  

An unaccompanied child may be transported only after the parents, adoptive parents or guardians have signed a written transportation agreement in accordance with the Airline's rules.   

Children can fly independently, unaccompanied by adults, starting from the age of 12. By parents (adoptive parents or guardians) demand transportation under the supervision of an Airline may apply to children under the age of 18. The age of the child is determined on the date of the start of transportation from the departure airport (point) indicated in the transportation document.

! Transportation of an unaccompanied child must be confirmed beforehand with the Airline (no later than 3 days before the flight). The number of unaccompanied children on the flight is limited. 

The service can only be confirmed for direct scheduled flights. The Airline does not accept unaccompanied children on international, transfer, interline and charter flights. 

Unaccompanied children can only be checked in at the check-in desk at the departure airport. 

When checking in for an unaccompanied child's flight at the departure airport, you must present:

The escort stays with the child until they undergo an inspection procedure. It is recommended to leave the airport building only after departure of the flight. 

The person meeting at the arrival airport (specified in the "Agreement for the transportation of an unaccompanied child") must arrive at the airport in advance of the arrival of the flight and have a valid identity document with him. In the arrival area of the destination airport, the Airline representative hands over the child and his documents to the person who meets him (after presenting his identity document).

The service is chargeable and you may book it at any ticket agency.

The cost of the service starts from 4,000 rubles in addition to the cost of the child's ticket.  

The service is refundable, refund is available at the point of sale. 

On our website you can independently book air tickets for a flight for a large family of 9 or fewer passengers (including children and infants).

If you are planning a flight for a large family of 10 or more people (adults + children), you must submit an application for air tickets in the Group transportation section.

  • A passenger is obliged to independently determine a possibility of using air transport, based on the state of his/her health. The Airline is not responsible for deterioration of a passenger’s health or other consequences that take place during or after the transportation, caused by the age, mental or physical condition of the passenger.
  • When concluding an air transportation agreement, passengers with disabilities must inform the Airline or the ticket agency about their disability, as well as about dimensional, weight and other characteristics of individual vehicles (including presence and technical characteristics of batteries) transported on board the aircraft.
  • Services at airports and on board aircraft are provided to passengers with disabilities and other persons with disabilities upon request.
  • The Airline takes all possible measures to co-accommodate on board the aircraft a passenger with disabilities and other limitations together with their accompanying persons.
  • A disabled passenger in a wheelchair may be transported without an accompanying passenger.
  • Passengers with disabilities must be able to remain in their own wheelchair (except for an electrically powered wheelchair) until boarding the aircraft. An electrically powered wheelchair used by a passenger shall be checked in as checked in baggage. Passengers using an electrically powered wheelchair are required to carry a set of wrenches/devices to disconnect the wheelchair battery terminals, as well as battery packaging in accordance with the ICAO Technical Instructions for the Safe Transport of Dangerous Goods by Air. Disconnection and connection of the battery terminals of the wheelchair with an electric drive is carried out by passengers personally, or by a service organization upon request for services.
  • Wheelchairs and other assistive devices used by disabled passengers are transported as checked-in baggage in the baggage compartment of the aircraft. When transporting a disabled person in an electric wheelchair, an electric wheelchair is transported on the aircraft as checked-in baggage (in excess of the free baggage allowance).
  • Wheelchairs used by passengers with disabilities and limitations are accepted for air transportation, subject to submission of a request by passengers about the need for services. Medical preparations used by passengers, wheelchairs, crutches are transported free of charge and not included in the free baggage allowance.
  • The issuance of wheelchairs used by passengers with disabilities and other persons with disabilities at the airport of destination/stop is carried out in the baggage claim area upon request for services, immediately after disembarking passengers from the aircraft.
  • At the airport and on board the aircraft, a disabled passenger performs medical procedures, food and medication, personal care, sanitary procedures, as well as looking after a guide dog on his/her own or with a help of accompanying persons. The Airline does not lift or carry the disabled passengers or passengers with limitations.
  • The following services are provided by the Airline to disabled and other persons with disabilities on board the aircraft: familiarization with the rules of conduct on board the aircraft and other relevant information in an accessible form for passengers; assistance in placing cabin baggage of the passenger on board the aircraft; Assistance with moving to and from the lavatory.

  • A passenger with both hearing and vision impairments is transported accompanied by a passenger assisting him/her in flight.
  • A disabled passenger who is deaf or visually impaired may be transported without an accompanying passenger.
  • A visually impaired passenger may be transported accompanied by a guide dog. Transportation of a visually impaired passenger accompanied by a guide dog may be carried out upon presentation to the carrier of a document confirming the disability of the passenger and a document confirming the special training of the guide dog. A guide dog accompanying a visually impaired passenger is transported in excess of the free baggage allowance. The guide dog must be collared and muzzled and tied to a seat at the feet of the passenger it accompanies. Number of guide dogs carried on an aircraft is limited and is determined depending on the number of passengers with disabilities on board, as well as number of pets in the aircraft cabin.

The special offer is available on a constant basis with no time limit and on any route within the current schedule. Tickets can be issued at any ticket agency. 

The following persons have the right to apply for a free flight: 

  1. Disabled people of the Great Patriotic War (WWII)
  2. Participants of the Great Patriotic War (WWII)
  3. Military personnel who served in military units, institutions, and military educational institutions that were not part of the active army in the period from 06/22/1941 to 09/03/1945
  4. Persons awarded the badge "Resident of besieged Leningrad", "Resident of besieged Sevastopol" and "Resident of besieged Stalingrad"
  5. Persons who worked at air defense facilities, on the construction of defensive structures, naval bases, airfields and other military facilities within the rear borders, interned at the beginning of the Second World War in ports and other states

Attention! One accompanying person is traveling with one veteran on the same flight on which the veteran's ticket was issued. Transportation of an accompanying person separately from the veteran or without him/her is impossible.

Tickets are issued upon presentation of the following documents:

  • A passport
  • Disability certificate
  • Certificate of war children (the category of war children includes citizens of the Russian Federation born between 06/22/1928 and 09/03/1945, permanently residing in the USSR during the Great Patriotic War (WWII); this category does not include persons who served their sentences in places of deprivation of liberty during this period)
  • Certificate of a participant in the Great Patriotic War (WWII)
  • Certificate of a disabled person of the Great Patriotic War (WWII)
  • Certificate of a resident of besieged Leningrad / a resident of besieged Sevastopol / a resident of besieged Stalingrad
  • Residence permit (for foreign citizens and stateless persons).
