In accordance with the Common rules for air transportation of passengers and baggage, the passenger is responsible for obtaining all necessary travel documents, visas, permits, etc., as well as for compliance with all applicable laws on departure, entry and transit of the country of departure, arrival and transit. The airline is not responsible to the passenger if the passenger does not receive such documents or visas or does not comply with the requirements of applicable laws.
Relevant information on separate issues of departure from the Russian Federation and entry into the Russian Federation of citizens of the Russian Federation, foreign citizens and stateless people can be found on the website of the Border Service of Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation.
KrasAvia Airlines representatives have the right to check passengers documents at the check-in stage or directly upon boarding the flight.

*Entry regulations to Norilsk and Taimyr Dolgano-Nenetsky district of the Krasnoyarsk Krai (territory) for citizens of foreign countries
According to the following document - постановлению Правительства Российской Федерации от 04.07.1992 г. №470 «Об утверждении Перечня территорий Российской Федерации с регламентированным посещением для иностранных граждан» - the municipality of Norilsk and the Taimyr Dolgano-Nenetsky district of the Krasnoyarsk Krai (Territory) are classified as territories with regulated visits for foreign citizens.
A visit to these territories requires coordination with the Department of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation for the Krasnoyarsk Krai (Territory).
According to Part 1 of Article 18.8 of the Code of Administrative Offences of the Russian Federation, violation by a foreign citizen or a stateless person of the rules of entry into the Russian Federation or the regime of stay (residence) in the Russian Federation entails the imposition of an administrative fine in the amount of two thousand to five thousand rubles with or without administrative expulsion from the Russian Federation.

There are new rules for the entry of foreign citizens to the Russian Federation from 30/06/2025
As part of the implementation of subparagraph "b" of paragraph 1 of the Постановления Правительства Российской Федерации от 7 ноября 2024 г. № 1510 «О проведении эксперимента по апробации правил и условий въезда в Российскую Федерацию и выезда из Российской Федерации иностранных граждан и лиц без гражданства», as well as in order to inform about the new rules of entry of foreign citizens arriving at the territory of the Russian Federation, we provide information materials received from the Ministry of Digital Development, Communications and Mass Media.
From 01/01/2025 the period of temporary staying in the Russian Federation of a foreign citizen, who has entered the Russian Federation on a visa-free basis, must not exceed ninety days in total during one calendar year. From August 01, 2023, citizens of some countries (the list of countries published on the website of the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs), can enter the Russian Federation with an e-visa (valid throughout the Russian Federation and available for applying on the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia).
E-visa grants the right to single entry by any transport through checkpoints across the state border of the Russian Federation and to stay in the Russian Federation on a guest or business visit, as a tourist, as well as to participate in scientific, cultural, socio-political, economic, sports events and for establishment of appropriate communications and contacts. The validity period of the e-visa is 60 calendar days, with a permitted stay of up to 16 days.
Due to legislation amendments the validity period of e-visa, issued on applications submitted starting at 00:00 Moscow time on 08/23/2025, has been increased from 60 to 120 days, and the permitted period of stay in Russia on e-visa has been increased from 16 to 30 days.
E-visas issued on applications accepted before 08/23/2025 are issued for the previous validity and stay periods.
Checking in for a flight, a foreign citizen must present to the airline's representative a printed (or in any other visual form, for example, on the screen of an electronic device) notification of the e-visa issuance.
E-visa verification is possible on the website of the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
